WHAT WE DO

Welcome Friends connects Newcomers to each other and to businesses in their community. It starts with a Newcomer Packet—fill out our contact form, and we'll deliver a packet full of information and helpful goodies to your door. You'll also be notified about Newcomer Meet & Greets and other events.

MEET OUR GREETERS

Annette Sebastian moved to the Eastern Shore in 2012 after 26 years of moving from city to city as a military wife. She purchased Welcome Friends in 2013.

Annette and her husband Jim live in Spanish Fort and have four daughters. In addition to spending her time with Newcomers, Annette enjoys serving with her church, Blessed Francis Xavier Seelos in Spanish Fort,, and with Bread of Life Cafe in midtown Mobile.

Annette is passionate about welcoming others and sees it as a ministry. The Scripture that drives her as she operates welcome friends is Matthew 25:35: “For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me.”
